Salvatore W Mancuso, know by many as Sal or simply Mr. Man to his students was a prominent community figure among adults and kids alike. He was known in the community for being a volunteer ambulance driver for the Blooming Grove Ambulance Corps, as well as a substitute teacher in the Washingtonville and Cornwall school district. Sal would always wear a suit and tie whilst brandishing a briefcase to his substitute positions at the school. People loved getting him as a substitute teacher as he was very kind, professional and knowledgeable.
